‘Mr. Cobbler’ project is inspired by the essence of Made in Italy, a philosophy that represents excellent craftsmanship and quality. In the creation of each pair of shoes, we strive to preserve and promote the authenticity of Italian craftsmanship in every aspect of the production process: from the creation of the initial model to the final finishing phase, each step is carried out with care and dedication.

Production process
Once the paper model has been created, the production phase begins and takes place entirely in specialized Italian workshops. This choice reflects the importance we attach to local production and the enhancement of our country’s craft skills.
The first phase is fundamental in guaranteeing the quality of the finished product: the cutting of the skins, an operation that requires great precision and care, carried out sometimes by hand, sometimes with the aid of punches to obtain uniform and accurate shapes. Carefully selected hides are cut with precision, respecting the exact shapes and dimensions required to create a flawless shoe.

Next, we dive into the stitching phase of the shoe upper. Our experienced artisan use traditional techniques and specialized tools to produce durable and elegant stitching. We take special care of every detail, guaranteeing a high quality finish.
We produce both shoes assembled and stitched to the sole using the Blacke technique, a traditional manufacturing method that ensures exceptional durability and a comfortable fit, and tubular bagged shoes with handmade moccasin stitching, a technical process that requires extraordinary manual skills. Both methods guarantee a high quality shoe, made with handcrafted care.
Every stage of the production process is carried out in Italy, from cutting to sewing. This collaboration with specialized laboratories allows us to maintain total control over production, guaranteeing high standards and enhancing local expertise.
